Rob Frazier is a founding partner of Freeman/Frazier. The eclectic
nature of Frazier's experience affords him a perspective atypical
in the real estate world. In addition to his training in real estate,
architecture and landscape architecture, Frazier knows the health
care, educational and theatre worlds, as well as nonprofits in general.
Frazier has used his diverse knowledge to facilitate projects
for many clients including Settlement
Health, where his health care management expertise made a great
difference. For this grassroots community organization, Frazier
developed a plan that allowed continuous operation and growth, even
as the facility was relocated. Frazier's understanding of educational
institutions benefited the Heschel and Reece Schools; and his knowledge
of medical and insurance reimbursement was invaluable in the development
of several programs for AIDS providers. For New York Presbyterian
Hospital and others, he has conducted facility assessments for potential
merger partners and new program initiatives. His hands-on knowledge
of the city and its neighborhoods has made him well suited to find
potential school sites in all five boroughs for the NYC Board of
Education. These have included sites actively on the market and
sites that were not but that would meet the Board's requirements.
He has received kudos for finding the new home for the New
Museum of Contemporary Art in Manhattan, a find that reflects
his understanding of the client's image as well as the "right"
location.
